Firefighters simulate blaze at Oxford BMW MINI plant

An explosion rocked the MINI Plant in Oxford on Tuesday, but no was injured - as the entire event was staged by Oxford firefighters.

The simulated blaze on the sixth floor of the manufacturing plant took place at 7.30pm and involved 30 firefighters from the site, Rewley Road and Slade fire stations using breathing apparatus and a specialist hydraulic platform.
